BHIP Youth Club
.The Youth Club received funding from BBC Children in Need and now operates every saturday afternoons from 12.30 – 3.30pm, from the following venue:
Hangleton Community Centre , Harmsworth Crescent, Hove BN3 8BW
our aim is to provide opportunities to encourage all young young people regardless of background to build self-confidence and life skills that enable them to live a happy, safe and fullfilling life and acheive their full potential.
Youth are encouraged to take ownership of the club and make choices as to which activities they would like to persue.
So far we have provided a wide range of outdoor and indoor activities, workshops and trips that reflect their needs and choices including rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, museum trips and graffiti workshops. We also run regular cooking workshops with an emphasis on healthy eating.
We wish to work with as many young people as possible and if you know any young people, parents/carers who would be interested, we would be grateful if you could inform them about the Youth Club via your noticeboards, website, newsletters etc.
We will be running some exciting summer activities from 30th July to 8th August. Check our programme below and see if there are any activities you would like to get involved in
