We are currently looking to recruit Playworkers for the ASC and a Deputy at the Saturday club.

The successful candidates will have the ability to provide one-to-one support and supervision to a child with additional needs, have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, to liaise with parents, children and the general public and have excellent communication skills. They will have an understanding of the care and safety needs of children, of the value of play in children’s development and of equality, diversity and inclusion in practice. They will have an understanding of effective team work and be sensitive to the support needs of volunteers.

Duties will include, planning, preparing and facilitating a range of inclusive and inspiring play opportunities for children with a wide range of needs, to work as part of a team and  to work within BHIP’s policies and procedures.
