Saturday Fiveways Play Club

The Saturday Clubs, for children aged 5 to 11. Held at 8-10 Florence Road, near Five Ways, BN1 6DJ, in Brighton (map) from 9.30am until 12:30pm.

When: We run play opportunities for children in an inclusive environment for children aged   5-12 years every Saturday term time from 9.30-12.30pm. We have an excellent team of qualified playworkers and volunteers who bring their skills and passions to our club.

Why: We believe that every child has the right to play and BHIP’s Saturday club provides a play space that promotes equality and embraces diversity and individuality.

We also provide one to one support if your child requires this service

Where:  We are situated in the heart of Brighton very near to Preston park on Florence road at Fiveways nursery. The building is less than two years old and has a beautiful large field for the children to explore. We have recently been given a grant for some new sensory equipment that the children will be lucky enough to use and play with which will enhance their play experience.

What : We have planned activities that we do every week, some of our favourites are:

  •  Cooking
  • Music
  • Karaoke
  • Painting
  • Junk modelling
  • Football
  • Parachute games
  • Dressing up
  • Face painting

We also have themed weeks to celebrate various cultural activities and festivals.  (insert image ref chinese new year)

We are constantly looking at new ways to have fun and all our staff and volunteers share their creativity and passions to provide children a wide range of play and social activities.
